I am Sydney, a UX/UI Designer from Atlanta.

I have a background in marketing, broadcast journalism, graphic design, and nonprofit management. My passions include solving user pain points and tackling challenges in innovative ways. With experiences as a team leader, designer, and front-end coder, I would love to take on your head-scratchers!

I graduated with dual degrees in marketing and broadcast journalism from the University of Mississippi and followed the experience up with a Masters in Public Administration from Kennesaw State University. Since then, I attended and recently completed the Georgia Institute of Technology's UX/UI Bootcamp. Through this program, I worked alongside the Streams of Sound nonprofit based in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Little Five Points Center for Arts & Community in Atlanta, Georgia, to improve their respective websites.

Because travel has been a part of my life since the beginning, from moving to Canada and Greece for a year to visiting over 26 countries across five continents, I am able to adapt to hurdles with little warning. I enjoy Studio Ghibli movies, singing along to showtunes, and Tex-Mex food because, in my mind, nothing is as satisfying after working hard than tacos.

Skills

I have worked with Adobe Creative Cloud programs over the years including Premiere and InDesign. My volunteer experiences at the Fabulous Fox Theatre, the Cobb County Master Gardeners, the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, and The Atlanta Opera have led to expanding my creative limits and enhancing user-centric research skills.
